This week the Ukranian government has shut down Demonoid, one of the largest torrent tracker in the world. Everything started with a little DDoS attack with which they unabled the access to the servers but with the incursion in the offices of the company ColoCall wich hosted Demonoid they compleatly shut down this service.
Yesterday Anonymous have announced #OpDemonoid, retribution for the governments acts.
The goal of Anonymous is to 'start' Demonoid again, and they are planning to do this with starting a mirror server which they will host and with attacking and punishing everyone who is responsable for shutting down Demonoid.
